Phalaenopsis Species - Moth Orchid
Phalaenopsis is one of the most popular orchids in the trade, through the development of many artificial hybrids. They bloom in their full glory for several weeks.
In nature, they are typically fond of warm temperatures 20–35°C, but are adaptable to 15–35°C. At temperatures below 18°C plus the combination of overwatering, you are likely to see root rots. They are also fond of high humidity.
Best placed in medium-high to high light. Flowers will fall very rapidly in low light.
Available in 120mm pot sizes.
