Sansevieria - Mother-in-law’s Tongue | Snake Plant

Sansevieria is a genus of about 70 species of flowering plants, whose common names include mother-in-law's tongue, devil's tongue, African spear, bow string hemp and snake plant. They are native to India, Indonesia and Africa.

Sansevieria are cold sensitive so place in a warm position. They are not tolerant of cold winds and frosts.

Tolerant of a wide range of light (from low to high light levels i.e. 250 – 2000 Lux), but do best in medium light (400–800 lux).
